Warehouse/Inventory Position will be responsible for picking, shipping and receiving components and finished goods, maintaining computerized inventory through scan guns, reconciling inventory discrepancies and initiating cycle counts.
-Receives all in-coming shipments, facilitates the stocking processes and warehouse organization of materials.
-Provides all documents to accounting including in-coming BOL's and packing slips noted with lot numbers, lot expiration, quantity by lot and bin location.
-Coordinates with QC personnel to obtain quick release for production or to stock.
-Oversees material counts for issue to production and proper transfer to production.
-Reports material counts of client components and material shortages for up-coming scheduled production work orders/batch tickets.
-Coordinates counts with production manager.
-Provides proper paperwork to accounting prior to release of product and obtains shipping approvals and logistic documents to facilitate shipping of goods.
-Responsible for all inventory bin or location transfers.
-Manages warehouse supply inventory.
-Complies with all safety guidelines and rules.
-Performs other job related duties as required.
Required Job Skills:
-Must have prior forklift and pallet jack experience. Ride-on forklift certification is a plus but we be can provide certification as well.
-English Skills: Excellent English is required. Must be able to read and write proficiently in English. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
-Microsoft Great Plains or computerized inventory systems a plus
-Must be able to accurately count, measure and weigh materials.
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
-Must be a fast worker that is organized & detail oriented.
-Must be able to effectively communicate concerns and seek assistance as needed
-Must be punctual and respect the work schedules.
-Must be able to work in a team and respect coworkers and superiors.
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-High School diploma or GED required.
-2+ years experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory
-Background check and drug screen required.
-Previous experience working in cosmetic, food, vitamin or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred but not required.
