Good Sports Outdoor Outfitters is currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic and friendly individuals to join our team. Good Sports is a 37-year-old, family owned, and growing specialty retailer in the outdoor industry.
We are looking to add a full-time team player to our sales staff. An interest and experience in the outdoors (hiking, camping. climbing, etc.), athletic training, and/or snow sports as well as the fashion industry is a must.
Paired with retail experience, successful candidates should have the ability to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
*Desire to greet all guests with a genuine/authentic smile and personalized offer to help with their shopping needs when appropriate.
*Ability to reference, share, and apply product knowledge information on an ongoing basis.
*Have knowledge of some outdoor sports.
*An outgoing and amicable attitude. Relationship building is important.
*An understanding of the brands and trends we sell.
*A general knowledge of computer use
*Have the ability and desire to learn quickly.
*Honest, reliable, and dependable.
*Possess fashion merchandising knowledge and experience.
*Drive to meet and exceed performance expectations and goals
*Drive branding and business objectives/sales through excellent execution of visual merchandising and presentation.
*Ability to utilize all company tools, visual talent, and knowledge to plan, map, and execute floor sets incorporating appropriate store specific adaptations as necessary.
*Ability to work in partnership with store management, continually analyze and respond to business/selling trends, assortment needs, and guest feedback--proactively adapt merchandising as needed.
