Solidworks Technician
Wear-Tek is a steel foundry and machine shop located in Spokane, WA. We are currently seeking a SolidWorks expert with a machining background for our tooling department. This position provides the opportunity for hands on experience in 3D modeling, CAM programming and operating CNC machinery to manufacture foundry tooling.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design parts and tools in 3D for sand castings using SolidWorks.
• Create CNC programs using SolidCAM software.
• Setup and Operate CNC machines to manufacture foundry tooling (Haas mill and DMS router).
• Communicate tooling design criteria to outside tooling suppliers.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience using the latest versions of SolidWorks.
• 3+ years of experience with CAM software for 3-axis mills, preferably with SolidCAM.
• 1+ years of experience with setup and operation of 3-axis milling machines.
PAY & BENEFITS:
• Compensation $23.00-$28.00/hr. DOE.
• Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability and employee assistance program is available on the 1st of the month after 60 days. Profit sharing is available on the 1st of the month after 90 days.
• 401k plan is available after 1 year.
