Our client in Broomall, PA is adding a Shipper/Receiver to their team. This position will involve shipping/receiving, labeling, light assembly, packing and inventory control. Shipper/Receiver is responsible to ensure organization, timely, accurate inbound and outbound inventory and freight. This position must interact with customers verbally and written and must proactively anticipate and troubleshoot to ensure efficient transactions and customer satisfaction. Must have strong attention to detail and initiative. This position will involve shipping/receiving, labeling, light assembly, packing and inventory control.
Perform tasks including receiving, storing and issuing of materials in a safe manner.
Receive inbound materials by verifying labeling and quantities of material against documentation and enter in system and ensure proper storage.
Participate in inventory and ensures accuracy.
Package products for shipment.
Create shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, required customs documents, packing slips and waybills using UPS, FEDEX, DHL and customer specific portals.
Understand and facilitate MSDS and other shipping requirements including weights and measurements.
Ship goods ensuring deadlines are achieved and complete documentation is included.
Ensure timely follow up to delayed or pending items to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Maintain neat and organized material storage.
Maintaining organization and cleanliness in a safe manner and assisting with other general maintenance as necessary. May maintain and support shipping/receiving related equipment.
Adhere to the requirements of the SOP’s, GMP’s and JSA’s.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and adheres to all safety procedures as documents in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Report safety hazards, quality and production issues to supervision immediately.
Participates in all job related safety training.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Complies with all Company policies and procedures and PA laws.

High school diploma/GED or equivalent required. Basic Math skills required.
Experience in a fast-paced shipping and receiving environment including forklift experience. Industrial / manufacturing experience is a huge plus.
Experience receiving packages and putting them into system as well as delivering packages throughout the organization in a professional and engaging manner.
Must have strong attention to detail and organization.
Experience with Inventory Control.
Able to communicate in writing and verbally.
Ability to take and follow directions.
Basic math and reading skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work until 5pm daily for shipment pick-ups and overtime when needed.
Detail-oriented including experience with both manual and electronic recordkeeping systems.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Internet) and QuickBooks.
Must be independent self-starter.
Previous forklift certification preferred.
