Project Sales Associate

Dominion Design & Integration, the San Antonio leader in custom electronics installations, is seeking a Project Sales Associate. In this role, you will be the face of our company for the home and business owners, builders, architects, and interior designers that we work with. Systems we install include Home Theaters, Security, Surveillance, Whole-House Audio, Home Automation, Lighting Control, Motorized Window Treatments, and WiFi Networks. • Make sales presentations and achieve sales targets
• Demonstrate equipment to prospects and explain system functionality
• Advise customers on various product options and the benefits of each
• Develop and maintain a customer database
• Make sales calls to new prospects and existing clients
• Develop sales proposals with the assistance of our Design Department
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, e-mail, or in person
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up with management
• Evaluate results of marketing efforts and make decisions to maximize results
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• Plan marketing events as well as attend other industry events/mixers

We are currently seeking an individual with excellent skilled aptitude who is eager to learn quickly as well as the following:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Excellent communication/follow-up skills, both written and verbal
• Self-confidence to make “cold calls” and overcome road blocks when present
• Sales experience in a technical field
• Continuous and passionate learner willing to take the time to find out how and why things work
• Ability to understand all of our products, how our internal processes work, and how our customers and competitors operate
• High energy level and sense of urgency to complete tasks; understand that execution is a key component to our success
• Solid understanding of both the internal and external customer, achieving a "win/win" solution for all scenarios
• Organized with the ability to effectively multi-task
• Ability to think outside the box to solve problems and develop solutions for both internal and external customers
• Should be a good negotiator and must be innovative and persuasive
• Available to work a flexible schedule
