Nanny
Fabulous parents about 20-minutes from Boston seek a FULL-TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 6-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl. Their children are sweet, and curious and love to engage in sports, games, and crafts!
The hours are from 9am-5pm +/- half an hour Monday-Friday (40 hours per week). The children attend a French bilingual school in Cambridge. Parents take them to school in the mornings and the nanny will be responsible for picking them up at 3pm and supervising them at home and/or taking them to afterschool activities.
While the children are in school, the nanny will be responsible for household management tasks such as running errands, organizing, emptying the dishwasher, picking up after the kids and keeping their areas and items organized, family laundry, making 3 simple family meals a week ideally (meals can repeat each week and cooking is not a deal breaker), grocery shopping, seasonally rotating the children’s clothes, etc. The schedule in the summer will remain the same for the most part, however, the duties will be focused more on childcare. This will be the same for snow days, school holidays, etc.). They have a home in the Cape that they visit occasionally for extended weekends during the summer months. They would love their nanny to either travel with them or stay behind to help keep the home running smoothly.
They are looking for an energetic individual who has a strong work ethic and can work autonomously with a positive attitude. Parents seek a true self-starter, as they do not wish to micromanage their nanny. Thus, they seek a nanny who is able to organize their schedule and prioritize tasks independently. The ideal candidate is kind and open-minded with a natural desire to engage with the kids and play with them. Must be vaccinated for Influenza Covid.
Mom works from home 2 days a week and dad works outside of the home in an office. They have a large home with plenty of space for privacy. They have a small 9-month-old miniature Bernedoodle (hypoallergenic) who needs to be fed midday and let outside as needed. The family has had a wonderful long-term relationship with their current nanny and is looking for someone who can make a 2-3 commitment and grow to be part of the family!
