Marketing Director

The Marketing Director will drive lead generation and marketing activities that contribute to the company’s sales and client retention goals through the development and execution of inbound and outbound marketing programs. The Marketing Director will develop strategies and leverage Forecast5’s association partnerships, working collaboratively with the Creative Director to increase the Forecast5 national brand and develop the tactics and collateral to help the company achieve its goals.
Essential Functions

•Create messaging/written content for advertisements, sell sheets, website, social media, brochures, presentations, e-mail campaigns, press releases, event invitations, and direct mail.
•Lead and coordinate the company’s content marketing strategy and editorial calendar by working with internal staff and external agencies to ensure consistent quality content (blogs, white papers, e-books, landing pages, customer newsletters, etc.) that provides helpful information to clients and prospects.
•Ensure content on the Forecast5 corporate website is relevant, up to date, and contributing to inbound marketing success.
•Take responsibility for working with Marketing and Client Engagement team members to ensure quality content is consistently published on the Forecast5 Learning Management System.
•Coordinate the submission of presentation proposals for conferences the Forecast5 team attends across the country.
•Work directly with client advocates to acquire client testimonials and write customer case studies for use on the Forecast5 website and in other marketing materials.
•Collaborate with the company’s Creative Director and other internal staff on all marketing related components of responses to client RFPs.
•Lead, coordinate, and author social media marketing activities.
•Develop relationships with Association Partner contacts through phone calls, e-mail communication, on-site meetings, and travel to select conferences and events.
•Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and Partnerships and other internal staff to coordinate the execution of marketing opportunities provided by Forecast5’s Association Partners.
•Oversee effort of Marketing Team members that coordinate logistics and engagement at association/professional development conferences across the country, and the Forecast5 National Conference.
•Manage end-to-end tactical implementation of demand generation programs, including strategy development and program execution and analysis.
•Take responsibility for continually monitoring and enhancing Search Engine Optimization strategies.
•Provide internal marketing related support to Forecast5 Sales, Client Engagement, and Human Resources departments as needed.

●Ability to create basic files and edits in Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop).
●Experience working with HubSpot or other marketing automation systems.
●Preferred 7-10 years of experience in a SaaS technology or B2B marketing environment
●Strong project management skills
●Strong creative, strategic, analytical and organizational skills
●Objective-driven planning

Required Education and Experience
●Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science (B.A. or B.S.) or Marketing, Communication or Business; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
●Excellent writing skills.
●Intermediate competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
●High level of integrity, performance and commitment.
●High attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
●Ability to perform at a high level in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position will be responsible for supervising two staff level positions.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This role will require approximately 10% travel to various states and to meet in person with Association Partners. Travel to some conferences will also be required.

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
