Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and execution of strategic marketing plans for the entire organization in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen PromoCorner’s market presence and help it find a consistent “voice” that will make a difference.

Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to, research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, creating and curating shareable content, being able to laugh (a lot) while working, determining which platform is best for each piece of content, building and managing social media profiles and presence, directing paid social campaigns and analyzing their performance, maintaining brand consistency across platforms, assessing PromoCorner’s SEO, monitoring analytics, and managing the digital budget.

Responsibilities
• In collaboration with PromoCorner key stakeholders, create comprehensive marketing and social media strategies to create awareness of the company’s products, services, and business activities
• Develop, implement, and manage client-specific digital media initiatives as directed
• Provide proactive strategic marketing and social media concepts to drive revenue growth and support sales efforts
• Assist in executing email campaigns, educational events, trade shows and other promotional activities and organize them efficiently
• Collaborate with content providers to ensure a continual stream of targeted and relevant content
• Plan and execute internal digital media campaigns, including web, SEO, and social media
• Maintain the PromoCorner social media presence across all digital channels
• Measure and report on the performance of all digital media campaigns
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional partners including sales, operations, and senior management
• Conduct general market research to keep abreast of industry trends and competitor’s digital media movements
• Evolve digital engagement of product lines
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Keep senior management informed by reviewing reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends

Requirements and Experience
• Degree from an accredited college or university
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally to both external clients and internal cross-functional partners
• Proficiency with Google Office suite
• Advanced computer skills with image-editing software such as Photoshop
• Experience with scheduling, traffic, and managing to deadlines
• Working knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, and WebTrends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to be both quantitative and qualitative in that process
