Marketing Associate
Austin First Financial, Inc. is a small independent investment advisory representative firm. We are looking for a reliable, honest, and hard-working person to lead our marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
• Manage our social media channels and engage with new community members
• Design, manage, & monitor marketing funnels
• Write compelling email messages
• Meet growth goals for follower acquisition, social traffic, and community engagement benchmarks.
• Develop copy and creative that ensures consistent, high-quality editorial execution on our social channels that will inform and engage our audience in a timely and efficient manner.
• Actively mine social conversations for relevant information and opportunities to engage, sharing this insight on trends and opportunities with the firm
• Engage with key social influencers and participate in the conversations happening across all social channels
• Answer social inquiries competently and efficiently
• Identify efficiency and effectiveness gaps in current social promotion processes and make recommendations based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with the firm to identify and develop new social tests, initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities to increase our online community.
• Consistently report on channel performance, progress, and key initiatives to the firm
Requirements
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• College graduate - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
• Strong knowledge of marketing technology, ideally with relevant experience using Google Analytics, WordPress, Hootsuite or similar content/social media marketing tools
• Familiarity with CRMs like Redtail and Ontraport
• Basic design experience (Photoshop, InDesign)
• Ability to work alone and independently
• Positive, professional attitude and demeanor
• Ability to proactively anticipate and meet the needs of a senior level executive
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Excellent prior employment tenure and tireless work ethic
• Advanced level Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Strong multi-tasking ability, ability to prioritize and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to interact with clients positively and effectively

• A subject matter expert. You have experience leading digital marketing campaigns and projects, and expertise in Social Media Marketing and Community Management
• A self-starter: You are proactive in looking for new opportunities to engage and grow on social media
• Independent worker. You will manage your own time and take initiative with pending tasks
• Passionate about social media: You demonstrate an eagerness to learn and share best practices, new trends, and major developments in the social space
• An excellent communicator

• Full time, salaried position $36k base, up to $48k with bonus structure
