Junior IT Systems Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities:
•Monitor and enhance the integrations between software systems
•Install and configure computer hardware and software
•Facilitate resolutions to all user questions and issues related to various systems
•Investigate, diagnose, and resolve computer software and hardware faults
•Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and systems
•Responsible for relationship management of our system vendors
•Create, change, and delete user accounts as requested
•Evaluate technologies and make recommendations for improvement
•Repair technical equipment and replace parts as needed
•Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades
•Check computer equipment for electrical safety
•Responsible for the oversight of the following systems: time clock, fire alarm, burg systems, phones, CCTV surveillance, and all business software (including ERP, EDI, WMS, and our company website)
•Perform tasks surrounding project management, EDI and mapping
•Perform other assigned duties as necessary and required

Qualifications and Education Requirements
•Working knowledge of active directory
•Networking and cabling experience
•Server rack experience
•Exceptional technical skills
•ERP experience preferred

Physical Demands
•Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 lbs. several times during the shift
•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
•Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions
•Ability to perform basic math functions
•Must be able to read and write in English
•Frequently work in environment with extreme temperatures. Our warehouse is not climate controlled. This includes sometimes being exposed to the outdoor environment
