Job Overview:

A Sweet Root Team Member contributes to the short and long-term goals of the company through facilitating daily tasks in relation to studio management as well as executing luxury weddings and events. All team members cover a wide range of responsibilities from lower level studio tasks to helping execute large events. We pride ourselves in building a team of cheerful, resourceful, hard workers. In addition to being a Team Member, the Warehouse Manager is a full time position at the Sweet Root Village Studio overseeing the general operation of the studio facilities including inventory, maintaining supply stock, and general maintenance.


-Event Supply Management: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for preparing supplies (vases, candles, arch structures, etc) for upcoming events, packing necessary supporting tools, and notifying owners of missing or low supply stock. You will also communicate directly with lead floral designers to ensure they have all the supplies needed for an event.

-Post-Wedding Studio Reset: On the Monday following an event weekend, you will be responsible for returning the studio to a workable state by checking in and putting away wedding supplies, discarding expired flowers, washing buckets, and removing trash. Full studio cleaning is a shared responsibility, but the Warehouse Manager leads the process following an event weekend.

-Inventory Management: Inventory management encompasses managing the inventory software (entering purchase orders, keeping items up to date, etc), as well as managing the storage area including organizing and ensuring current inventory matches the software. Inventory management may also include involvement in the annual inventory tax process, annual warehouse sale, sourcing products, and managing team members to help complete these tasks.

-General Maintenance: General studio maintenance, within the scope of your abilities, will include a variety of projects (painting, repairs, improvements, building, etc) as needed.

-Facilities Management: Additional facility related tasks include ensuring doors are locked, van is serviced, and other facility tasks may arise.

-Floral Team Support: The Warehouse Manager acts as a support role to the floral team, assisting with any daily tasks needed such as packing completed floral arrangements, prepping floral foam, spray painting items, cleaning glassware, processing flowers, organizing floral cooler, preparing supplies for mockups, driving to pick up flowers from the airport, shopping for misc supplies, etc.

Physical and Job Requirements:

-Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly on a regular basis.
-Must be comfortable climbing ladders on a regular basis.
-Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
-Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent
with responsibilities listed above.
-Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and be willing to occasionally
drive company vehicle. Having a personal vehicle is not required but preferred.
-Must be proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and
basic inventory management systems.
-Must be comfortable around dogs and small children in the workspace.
-Must be compliant with a background check and company dress code and company policies.
-Must submit a resume and 2 professional references.

-Full Time Salaried Position
-Start Date: As soon as possible (no later than January 14th).
Position requires training. Training days are paid hourly and ideal training dates are immediately through November 26th.

-Studio Hours: Mon-Fri flexible hours to fulfill 40hr work week, however Warehouse
