Position Summary:

As a Call Center Representative, most of your day is spent on the phone. You assist members with basic financial transactions such as looking up account info and posting transactions by phone or mailed in. You also can use your product knowledge to recognize opportunities to set a member up with one of our products or services that will help better serve them. While some callers require extra patience, most are appreciative of the excellent member service you provide them, and you go home each day feeling good about the problems and challenges you’ve been able to help our members with.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls
• Answer incoming emails
• Post incoming mail
• Podium responses
• Verification of Deposit processing
• Returned mail processing
• Efficiently recognize errors and resolutions on members accounts
• Produce accurate work by prioritizing and organizing workflow
• Positive member feedback regarding skill level and level or service provided



Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Education:

• High School diploma
• Must have working knowledge of software programs and computer systems required of the position
• Good organizational, verbal and written communications are essential
• Must be able to work under pressure and cope with unusual situations
• Cooperative spirit, positive behavior and a pleasant, courteous attitude are required


Beneficial Education and Experience:

• Bilingual is beneficial
• Comparable employment experience
• Working knowledge of Credit Union accounts, products and services offered
