Title: Business Development Manager
Reports to: Managing Pharmacist
Job Type: Salary Position

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is often the first point of contact a new potential client will have with the business when they are seeking information on the products and services the company provides. The Business Development Manager manages the daily marketing and business development activities with a solid focus on growing the business and maintaining relationships with current customers. The goal of the Business Development Manager is to pursue opportunities for long-term growth and revenue from customers, markets, and relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and coordinate the creation of marketing material for purposes of attracting new customers, retaining existing customers, and re-engaging previous customers.
• Create and execute online marketing programs designed to generate increased traffic to the Company’s website or inquiring about the Company’s products and services.
• Expand the brand of the Company through online engagement, email campaigns, and direct mail.
• Create updated relevant education and marketing pieces.
• Site visits to current and prospective customers.
• Maintains accurate records of all client visits and prospecting activities.
• Provide bi-weekly updates with management.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Broad knowledge and experience in Business Development and Customer Relations
• Excellent Skills in Marketing
• Bachelor's degree required
• Two+ years of experience in marketing, business development, sales, or healthcare preferred
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Flexible, enthusiastic, independent, and self-directed
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with minimal guidance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Two+ years of experience in marketing, business development, sales, or healthcare preferred
