Assistant Account Executive

A boutique Honolulu PR agency is looking to add a full-time Assistant Account Executive to our team. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting projects that make a difference in Hawaii, sharpen your strategic thinking and utilize your creativity.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field. You will have the opportunity to do a large amount of the virtually, so must be self-directed and motivated. Responsibilities include working closely with the account lead to process client requests in a timely manner, using creative and strategic thinking in projects, and assisting with editing and research.

Preferred experience:
- 1-2 years of public relations including copywriting, creative and strategic thinking, and appropriate oral/written communication skills.
- Social media experience including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

Salary will commensurate with experience. Serious inquiries only.
- Project management and client coordination
- Bonus: An interest or background in photography and graphic design

Candidates MUST:
- Be located on Oahu and have a reliable form of transportation
- Have access to a personal laptop or mobile operating system with wifi access
- Have great attention to detail
- Be able to prioritize while managing multiple projects
- Have excellent written communication and research skills
- Be willing to work around deadlines
- Work independently
