We are looking for an Agile Automation Engineer who can perform all aspects of automation testing including framework design, development, scripting, and test execution using Selenium and HP UFT.  Position is full-time at our Alexandria location with possibility for teleworking.  Excellent team camaraderie.  Top salary for highly qualified candidates. *Analyze customer needs and develop software solutions in an Agile/DevOps environment
*Review user stories and create test cases, test scripts and test suites for execution
*Analyze and identify suitable opportunities for test automation
*Design automation components/modules that can be leveraged across multiple test scripts using a standard automation framework
*Develop automation components/modules using appropriate tools and programming languages
*Develop automation components/modules using parameterized data from an external source (such as a spreadsheet)
*Create and configure jobs in Jenkins to run automated tests
*Analyze, interpret and report test results
*Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and related requirements
*Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to changing requirements
*Maintain all artifacts in a version-controlled repository using Subversion or Git
*Coordinate with other stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure customer satisfaction
*Communicate directly with customer staff orally and in writing to plan and to report progress

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years IT testing or software development experience
1+ years test automation experience using Selenium WebDriver
1+ years of experience in software development and testing including planning and design
Authorized to work in the U.S

Qualifications Highly Desired

Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript
Experience with any version control software such as Subversion and/or Git
Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, fast paced environment
Understanding of software development, test and verification processes, methods, and tools
Experience working with xml and json for data preparation and parsing

Strong work ethic and commitment to quality

60,000 to 90,000/yr, based on capability and experience
