ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for assisting in month-end close processes and preparation of financial statements
Analysis of monthly general ledger account activity, journal entries, accruals, variances to forecast, and reconciliation of various accounts, fixed asset administration, and various employee benefit accounting
Responsible AP process and support the AR process
Maintenance of various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses
Post cash transactions and reconciliation of clearing accounts.
Assist in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with outside auditors as needed.
Participate in the annual and monthly budget process and interim forecasting
Respond to frequent internal and external customer requests as appropriate
Assist the company in implementing and executing company policies and compliance procedures
Other corporate accounting duties as assigned.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with Contract completion items, tax related items as needed to support new Client Opportunities
Provide training as needed to users of ERP system for companies supporting
Performs other duties as assigned
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
Detail-oriented and demonstrates a "can-do" positive attitude.
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
Self-starter with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities or reprioritization of projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent spreadsheet skills. Understanding concepts of databases, filtering data, use of mathematical, logical, statistical and financial functions a plus
Knowledge of Acumatica a plus
Corporate Accounting experience a plus
Must be able to adapt to an ever-evolving technology landscape
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
BA/BS in Accounting required
1-2 years experience processing accounting transactions
