Project Manager, Estimator, Project Coordinator

Growing Hayward based Small Size Commercial General Contractor looking for motivated individual to do estimating, project management and site superintendent work as Commercial/School/Government Projects ranging from 500K to 10M. Must be able to negotiate work with subcontractors and suppliers, maintain schedules, easily communicate with a wide variety of clients,
Full-Time Position
Benefits & Compensation:
•60K to 100K annually (plus an annual bonus at the discretion of management)
• 100% Employer Paid Kaiser for Employee, Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay

Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare plan for construction of the project
• Assist in procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare and update project schedule/schedule of values/payment applications
• Manage change order process
• Oversee project documentation, including shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and logs
• Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control on the project
• Oversee site safety and ensure all workers have a safe working environment
• Possess thorough knowledge of plans and specifications
• Possess leadership abilities, provide accurate direction for Superintendent and project team
• Be effective at scheduling and multitasking
• Lead team and project meetings
•Prepare estimates.
• Generate proposals for work
• Review subcontractor proposals
• Review Vendor’s material quotes and negotiate pricing
• Communicate with Owners and Engineers as necessary
• Maintain ethical standards of the highest level.
• Professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.
• Extraordinarily strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of Construction Estimator/PM experience (Required)
•Experience in School, Government and commercial construction projects.
•Experience with self-performing labor and materials take off
•Strong construction knowledge
• Proficiency with Scheduling programs and Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc...) (Required)
• Ability to provide positive site leadership for the project at all times
• Ability to properly communicate through both oral and written communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and properly prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment for extended periods of time
• Ability to sit at a desk, working on computer and phone systems for a full work day
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to travel locally
•Bilingual English
