Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) is a 501 C-3 organization dedicated to the health and well- being of the Black communities in Colorado. At CBHC, our communities thrive when the organization is at its best. CBHC is seeking an Assistant to support the Tackling Menthol in the Black Community initiative. The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail. Assistant will have flexibility, foresight, and trusted confidence related to high-level systems and operations. Continuation of this position is dependent upon grant funding allocated for 2023.

Tackling Menthol in the Black Community (TMBC):

TMBC is a project that was initiated by Colorado STEPP and CDPHE to address menthol concerns within Colorado�s Black/African American community. The areas of focus for the project are the Denver metro area, including Aurora, Denver, and Colorado Springs. This a multifaceted project that involves education, advocacy, and action to tackle Menthol tobacco smoking, a social justice issue. The TMBC team collaborates with coalition members to mobilize and act by promoting policies, systems, and environmental changes to ban menthol tobacco and nicotine. Identifying and providing culturally competent resources, including cessation resources, helps educate the community, save the lives of Colorado�s Black American community, and improve health equity.

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

� Daily, serve as the primary point-of-contact for the TMBC project.
� Work directly with the Executive Assistant to distribute or disseminate email messages, concerns, or other information to the designated TMBC employee.
� Provides support including meeting scheduling, campaign initiatives, email messages, queries, and monitoring of TMBC related Social Media accounts.
� Completes periodic review of TMBC website and Social Media posts and provide insight, ideas, and bi-monthly reporting.
� Provides data and reporting as requested by the TMBC Project Coordinator.
� Completes special projects in partnership with the TMBC team.
� Serves as the note taker for meeting minutes.
� Monitors and updates the Master Workplan for the TMBC project.
� Provides status on any overdue tasks/areas at staff/team meetings.
� Organizes and finalizes the Annual TMBC Project Report.
� Assists with the STOP Shop report.
� Monitor and update CBHC Coalition Tracking Tool and create reports.
� Develop strategies and assist with the TMBC Toolkit dissemination.
� Assist with TMBC�s Youth Coalition and Engagement.
� Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business.

Non-Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

� Attends all meetings as assigned.
� Attends TMBC related events as assigned.
� All other duties as assigned.
� Availability by cell phone via call/text.
