Field Technician
Background:
MEQ probe is an Australian-based AgTech company focussed on developing world-first technology for the red meat industry. We have engaged our first US client and are looking to expand our team to include a US-based employee responsible for maintaining this partnership and developing new ones.
The role will initially consist of data collection at processing plants and feedlots using our technology solutions but there is the opportunity for significant growth as MEQ Probe grows throughout the US.
Role/responsibilities:
- Data collection using our technology at feedlots and processing plants
- Investigate and drive new business partnerships in the US
- Collaborate with the Aus-based team to continue driving the development of our products
- Oversee site installations and ongoing maintenance
- Stakeholder management with existing and potential customers
- Train and onboard new clients
Experience:
- Extensive knowledge and experience within the agriculture industry with a focus on meat science
- Agricultural or Animal science based degree is desirable but not required
- Keen interest in AgTech and its� ability to progress the industry
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A high level of problem solving ability is a must
- Willingness to travel for work and work varied hours when required by processing plant schedules
