Substitue Tutor
At Redwood Literacy, we believe every child can learn to read. We use evidence-based, multi-sensory intervention targeting deficits in decoding/encoding (Wilson Reading System®), written expression (The Writing Revolution), and math (Chris Woodin Math Strategies) in order to allow students to develop their academic skills and access their dreams. We deliver this instruction in primarily small group settings (3-5 students) both in-person (Rogers Park, Chicago, Oak Park, IL, and Millennium Park, Chicago) and virtually. The majority of our sessions take place during after-school hours (between 3:00-7:00 PM), however, we do have daytime sessions as well. We are looking to form a team of high-quality, reliable substitutes to step in when our instructors need to take planned & unexpected time off.
