This 20 hour a week position fills as a temporary role under the direction of the Office Manager as a receptionist for the Visalia Naz. The receptionist is the visitor’s first impression when an individual calls or visits our church office. Responsibilities will include assisting walk-ins, answering phones, administrative/clerical tasks, and database assistance.

Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors, assist walk-in as needed, answers telephone and shares correspondence
Provide support to the Office Manager as the database assistant to Community Church Builder while maintaining confidentiality of all data, phone calls and prayer requests
Ensure highest data accuracy and takes preventive measures to eliminate errors
Input connect cards, family forms, and any registrations
Generate lapsing reports for follow-up
Assist in updating forms, or important documents for database or relevant software
Monitor database health and performance
Assist in maintaining member records, milestones, and assimilation
Assist in mailing letters and sending bulk emails
May be asked to perform additional duties requested by the Office Manager

Training and experience:
Must be a Christian
Must type 45wpm
Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment
Knowledge in MS Word
Ability to lift over 25lbs
Ability to meet and deal effectively with office manager, associates, and the general public
Experience working in an office setting
Data experience is a plus

Days of Service:
Tuesday - Friday’s
May work some Sundays
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
