Lifeguard, Swim Instructor
Lifeguard / Swim Instructor Job Description:
We are looking for outgoing individuals to teach swim lessons and lifeguard our pools. This is a chance to help children learn to swim and be more confident in the water. We can train and certify the right applicants. Camp runs June 27th - August 19th.
Lifeguard / Swim Instructor Responsibilities:
- Teaching swim lessons. Help campers ages 3 -12 develop proper swimming techniques (we train qualified candidates)
- Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift
- Organizing and overseeing pool activities
- Maintaining a clean pool environment
Job at camp also involves outside pool responsibilities, ie. helping out with special events during camp hours such as Carnival Day, having lunch with camp groups, spirt leading during arrival.
Lifeguard Qualifications:
- Current ARC certification (we can certify you)
- CPR and First Aid certifications (we can certify you)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment in-water practical skills test
