Lab Technician
The Solventless Extraction and Laboratory Technician (SELT) is responsible for adhering to set industry safety, sanitization, and production standards in order to process raw cannabis material into cannabis extract. An SELT will also participate in the R&D aspects of the job including preparing and running test samples through the solventless extraction equipment and product development/improvement. An SELT is also responsible for accurately tracking and labeling all cannabis material in his or her possession using the Solventless Extraction Processing Forms. This job operates in a low-temperature area within a professional laboratory environment. This role routinely uses specialized mechanical extraction equipment. You will be handling large amounts of water, ice, cannabis biomass as well as work with freeze dryers, heated pneumatic presses, air compressors, and water pumps.
