Interim Project Coordinator
Kamus + Keller Interiors | Architecture is a growing, full-service architecture and design firm with diverse commercial clients. We are seeking a interim PROJECT COORDINATOR for our Long Beach, CA office, to work with both our dynamic Interiors and Retail teams. This is a hands-on role, and the right candidate will function well not only as administrator, but manage time and projects independently and proactively to ensure client deadlines are met. Position is for 7 to 8 months with potential for a full time position.

As a PROJECT COORDINATOR, you will be responsible for:
• Creation of detailed proposals/contracts, work authorizations, change orders, project schedules, and construction bulletins, addendums and punch-lists.
• Monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Coordination of construction document production and delivery.
• Submittal and RFI review and response.
• General administrative support throughout the office, including internal and external meeting coordination, contact maintenance and occasional travel arrangements.
• Communicate effectively and promptly with coworkers, business partners and clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Must be comfortable using PC platforms.
• Must have minimum 2 years professional administrative expertise. Experience within the interior design, architecture and/or construction industry.
• General knowledge of architectural interior design terminology, concepts, practices and procedures.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to proactively multi-task and accurately perform a variety of complicated tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Local applicants only.
• Auto CAD & Bluebeam experience a must.
• High paced office environment.
• Must be punctual and have excellent attendance.
