Business Development Associate
Women Just Like Me, is a non profit organization that offers critical needed services for at-risk girls, teen mothers and families in disadvantaged communities. We are seeking a talented Business Development Associate who has a concern for people and experienced working with non profit's or charitable organization to assist with the company's philanthropic enterprise.
The objective of this position is to bring awareness to the organization's mission, projects, and create strategies to meet its financial goals. The Business Development Associates' purpose is to strengthen the relationship between the organization's current and potential donors, as well as to introduce innovative and effective fundraising strategies to the Board.
Qualifications
3+ Year Background as a Business Development Professional, Philanthropic Strategist, or Human Resource Management.
Education: Business psychology, Human Resources, Leadership, or Non-Profit.
Demonstrate a record of building creditability in funding that result in major gifts or funding.
Experienced in leadership and team-building.
Strong communication skills/ active listener
Impeccable integrity
Must have high expectations
Possess a passion for the work
Concern for people
High energy
Responsibilities
To expand awareness of the organizations mission, brand and projects through networking, meetings, and content creation.
Accessing the financial needs of the company and working with the Board to meet the organizations financial goals.
Create and execute fundraising campaigns.
Create and sustain relationships, and facilitate and building consensus among team members, donors and volunteers.
