Turf Technician
Grooming/Game Help
Each player needs assistance with tacking and untacking horses during a game. Some will even need help exercising their horses or taking care of them when they are not played. This job requires good multitasking skills, horse experience, some riding experience and hard work ethic. We play every day expect for Monday and the schedule will depend on the induvial player. The pay depends on what you are responsible for as well as your experience but ranges from $10/horse to $50/horse and up to $3500/month.
Flaggers
During tournaments we need game officials to stand behind the goal posts and signal if the ball went through the uprights. This is a good job for anyone who is looking for a few extra bucks but can’t do something consistent from week to week. We usually say 13yr to 14yrs and older and no experience is necessary. The pay is $20/game. Each game is 1hr long and there could be up to 2 or 3 games in a day.
Divot Fillers
One of the most important jobs is to help fill the divots after games. The schedule is Wednesday 12pm-4pm, Friday 12pm-4pm, Saturday 10am-2pm, Sunday 10am-2pm. We can also be slightly flexible with this schedule and you can also have the opportunity to have more hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays but will need to be consistence. The season goes from May 21st to September 17th and we can also work around school schedules. The pay for this is $15/hr to $18/hr.
Field Maintenance
We treat the polo field like a golf course. It gets mowed, water and maintained every day. This job requires some experience with driving so 16yrs and older is a must. The pay varies from experience and hours.
Event Parking
Each Sunday Funday we will need help ushering people to their parking spots along with their tailgates. We might also have a few other events if you would like more hours. No experience is necessary, but we like to save this job for 14yrs and older due to safety. The pay for this is $15/hour.
