STEM EICs informal STEM enrichment programs in the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area providing students with exciting, hands-on activities designed to stimulate their interest in science, technology, and engineering. As a member of the Techsplorers team, you will have a chance to make a real difference in the lives of children.
We are looking to hire educators (either currently teaching or retired) as lead instructors for summer camps. This job is perfect for teachers looking to earn extra income during the summer and on weekends as our flexible scheduling coordinates with your regular school calendar and vacation. This is also a great opportunity to strengthen your technical skills and work with motivated students who are eager to learn.
We are looking to hire educators (either currently teaching or retired) as lead and assistant instructors for our grades 2-4, and 5-12 summer camps. For those who enjoy working with younger children, the Exploring Engineering classes are full of lots of fun, hands-on, science experiments, and engineering design challenges that are always a blast.
Teachers of all grade levels and subject areas are encouraged to apply, but STEM specialists and math and science teachers are ideal candidates. Please note, however, that STEM or engineering experience is not a prerequisite. The most important factor is experience working with students and a passion for teaching.
