Programming/Coding Teacher
About X-Camp (------------/)
- Founded in 2017 in Silicon Valley, X-Camp Academy is a community dedicated to inspiring and cultivating the next generation of computer science and artificial intelligence talents. X-Camp offers programming courses for students between 6th-12th grade.
- We are constantly looking for part-time coding/programming teachers to join our rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities
- Teach junior, senior and competitional level data structure and algorithm in Python, Java and C++
- We will soon start offering weekday afterschool and weekend on-site coding classes and have high demand for teachers who can commute to the school locations with time flexibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and above in computer science or related field
- Previous programming teaching experience preferred
- Previous programming competition experience (ICPC, USACO, IOI, etc) preferred, and is a must for competitional level classes
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate efficiently with both internal (teachers, TAs and other functional teams) and external stakeholders (students, parents, etc)
Other Information
- This is a part-time contract position (minimum 2-3 hours/week) with requirement of weekday afterschool and/or weekend availability
- Performance based bonus is offered for this position
