Strive Logopedics Center is looking for a qualified Physical Therapist who is interested in working in the pediatric setting. Your main goal will be to help patients improve their physical condition, regain mobility and reduce pain. As a Physical Therapist, you will work together with other professionals to assist patients reach their goals. You should consider yourself a team member who is able to work independently while also being able to collaborate with other professionals in your field. Since you will be interacting with patients, we need you to be knowledgeable and reassuring, while being caring and compassionate. Ultimately, your role is to be flexible in your approach, and follow the high standards required in this medical field.
Responsibilities:
•Administer rehabilitation to patients with physical and mental impairments or injuries in order to assist in recovery or to improve the quality of daily living.
•Perform diagnostics using a variety of methods (e.g. check muscle strength, palpation, pressure pain thresholds, range of motion etc.).
•Monitor and evaluate patient’s progress and keep records.
•Provide advice and guidance on exercises, work re-integration and lifestyle management.
?Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to initiate plans for patients.
•Develop rehabilitation programs based on analysis of patient’s needs, condition and prognosis.
•Manage and organize rehabilitation sessions.
•Ability to speak Spanish at any level is highly encouraged but not required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
