Office Manager
Immediate openings!
This is an IN-PERSON position with shifts available on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.
Please only apply if you can commit to at least two shifts during these times
Responsibilities:
Answer questions via phone, text messages, emails, and walk-ins.
Manage class transitions (call names of students going home, answer questions of parents and students as they leave or are getting dropped off)
Process payments and schedule changes
Help with students who are having a bad day
Help keep studio clean, take out trash
Restock art supply shop
Maintain positive relationships with students and coworkers
Document and share student progress and evaluations
Maintain the health and safety of all students
We're a new kind of art school for children ages 4-17 in Cupertino, CA. We have developed our own unique style of teaching art and engaging students that focuses on developing their artistic, social, and creative skills. We introduce them to various types of projects from traditional to new media.
Requirements:
Must be able to work at least two shifts: Friday afternoon (between 3pm until 8pm), 8:30am - 6pm Saturday, and/or 8:30am - 6pm Sunday on a weekly basis
Physical requirements include being able to be on your feet for 2-3 hours at a time
Reliability and proactiveness is a MUST
Laid-back, fun, playful, and outgoing personality! You need to be friendly, but firm in a playful way with students.
Must be good with kids of ages and have a strong ability to build rapport with students
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
