Member Services Specialist
We are looking for a DYNAMIC Members Services Specialist to join our family!
Crispim BJJ Barra Brothers is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Art Training Center located in Pleasanton. We also offer programs in Fitness, Boxing, and Muay Thai, and we have a phenomenal Kids program.
We are looking for a team player who wants to be part of a dynamic atmosphere in a large academy. We are currently looking for an experienced sales/customer service professional who can work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30pm (start time may be flexible up until about 3:30) to 8:30pm and possibly Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm). More hours may be available in future.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
* Enrolling New Members and reaching/surpassing sales goals
* Prospect via member referrals, guest traffic, phone inquiries, business networking, community events, social networking and some cold calls.
* Conduct high quality tours of our facility
* Demonstrate knowledge of our academy and the specific Martial Arts that we offer
* Work the front desk including greeting members and guests, answering questions, dealing with member concerns, answering the phones and using the POS system
* Make member retention calls
* Create a friendly family-oriented environment for our members and guests
* Learn, understand, and follow all policies, procedures and standards.
* Some light cleaning
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 1 year sales experience required, preferably in the Martial Arts or Fitness industries
* Exceptional sales skills
* Self Starter and Self Motivator who completes work with accuracy and timeliness
* Ability to multi-task - very important
* Must have a dynamic personality. Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, personable and professional.
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Industry experience with a fundamental knowledge of Martial Arts and Fitness is a plus
* Computer literate and a fast learner of new software
* Must be a team player
* High school diploma or GED required
* Hourly wage plus sales commissions
