Medical Assistant Position

We are looking for a Part-Time Medical Assistant who can perform TMS and monitor patients undergoing Ketamine Treatment. Previous experience performing TMS coordination is not required as training will be provided. The role requires administration of in-office TMS therapy under the direction and supervision of our treating physician. This individual will interact regularly with patients, and manage the administrative tasks of this clinical service.

The job will also consist of, but is not limited to the following:

Greet and welcome guests and patients when they arrive at the office.
Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, and scanning
Answer phones in a professional, friendly, and timely manner; forward, screen and route calls
Schedule appointments; check-in and check-out patients
Assist co-workers and team with administrative tasks
Provide excellent customer service to all visitors
Expedite special requests from clients
Refill patient medications
Complete prior authorizations
Dispense medication
Enter patient transactions
Collect and documents payments from clients
Taking & recording vitals
Process medical records request
Submit lab work requests
Send monthly superbills to clients
Prepare correspondence
Help process disability paperwork
General office upkeep and maintenance (ordering supplies, watering plants, feeding fish, etc.)
Help with outreach efforts to grow the brand
Qualifications And Skills

MUST have 1 year experience working in a medical office
Proven experience as an administrative assistant
Strong proficiency in Google including Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Admin/Drive/Docs/Spreadsheets
Proficiency using Apple computer systems
Tech-Savy - ability to learn new systems quickly and adjust to new systems
Detail-oriented
Calm demeanor
Knowledge of office management procedures and management systems
Familiarity with online calendars and Cloud data management systems
Strong communication skills (via telephone, email and in-person)
High level verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
Ability to coordinate meetings and events
Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information
Able to think proactively, take initiative and prioritize projects and workload
Proficiency in English
Basic algebraic knowledge

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Varies - Monday to Friday
Work setting: In-person
