Create a relaxing spa experience for members and guests. Greet each client with a positive and inviting attitude, and assist each one with any requests he/she may have. To handle each client in a friendly and professional manner; make each one feel special. Customize massage services to provide personalized attention, specific to the needs and wants of the individual.

• Be prepared and arrive at least ten minutes early for each appointment; start and end on time
• Enthusiastically greet and assist each client in preparation for his/her massage
• Perform massage therapy services professionally, catering to the client’s needs
• Keep massage room clean and stocked for the next client or therapist
• Promote spa specials as well as ongoing services, products and gift certificates
• Strive to create loyal customers and ongoing clients; encourage clients to book continuing and future appointments
• Strive to build a referral business
• Offer parting wishes to all clients as they leave the spa
• Communicate frequently with staff who are maintaining the appointment book to stay aware of any changes to the schedule
• Work closely with other spa staff (i.e., estheticians) to coordinate the delivery of spa package services
• Participate in club programs to promote massage and wellness services (i.e., performing chair massages at a health fair, etc.)
• Maintain required certifications and/or licenses
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Day Spa Manager
