Position Summary

To perform therapies in the therapy bay for practice members as directed by the doctors.
To perform table and/or therapeutic chair massage, as requested of you, on practice members during Take Care Chiropractic’s (TCC) AM and PM primetime adjusting hours. (Compensation would be covered under base pay rate).
To perform table/chair massage for walk-in and/or scheduled clients.
To assist with scheduling appointments, payment collection and tracking.
Provide direct admin support to staff and doctors when and if needed.

Tasks & Responsibilities*
Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform within the time allotted for the service.
Provide consistent professional massage and body therapy in accordance with TCC protocols and systems.
Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product; responsible for tidiness of massage therapy area(s).
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered and performed by TCC.
Communicate with team members of any and all occurrences involving practice members concerns that require attention from the doctor or a specific team member.
Actively generate new patient leads, promote TCC, creating leads, services and retail, as well as promotions and discounts available.
Provide brief muscle and soft tissue work pre and/or post-adjustments on practice members as directed by doctors.
Attend health screenings and charitable events as needed.
Provide tissue massage for walk-in and practice member scheduled appointments.
Provide massage therapy to TCC team members.
Take adequate and accurate treatment notes from and enter into the SOAP portion of the practice members.
Handle practice members’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Attend weekly team meeting and be present with input and ideas.
Wear a uniform of clean black scrubs. TCC will provide 2 pairs at our expense. Any additional uniforms will be therapist’s responsibility and must have the TCC logo.




Skills & Attributes
Proficient soft and deep tissue massage skills; have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage therapy modalities and possess a general understanding of massage therapy in collaboration with chiropractic care.
An understanding and passion to expand knowledge of chiropractic care, the philosophy of TCC and a willingness to learn the products, the procedures, and the service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our practice members.
The ability to communicate and speak effectively with existing practice members and potential patients regarding the combination of chiropractic and massage care.
The desire to grow your client-base and our combined patient base.
Have initiative to actively market and promote oneself and one’s services under the TCC name.
Be an effective team player with open and direct communication with both practice members and fellow team members.
To have personal goals and a vision for your position at TCC.
Possess the ability to work without direct supervision and effectively be responsible with time management.
Must hold and maintain a current state license and therapist is required to provide copy of this to TCC.
