Preschool Teacher
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Japanese-speaking teachers to join our team at Suginoko Horizons. If you have a passion for early childhood education and possess excellent Japanese language skills, this is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 1-5.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities, lessons, and programs.
• Teach Japanese language and culture through various methods, including songs, games, stories, and interactive play.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Monitor and assess individual child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom that adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
Skills and Requirements:
• Fluent in speaking and writing in Japanese (Native or near-native proficiency)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Previous work experience with children, preferably early childhood education setting
• Authorized to work in the US
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual children
• CPR certification (preferred but training will be provided upon hiring)
• Pass background check
