The Guest Services Specialist is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all resort/campground guests throughout their stay. Primary responsibilities include greeting all guests coming into the property, taking reservations by phone, online or in person, answering guest questions and coordinating with various departments within the property to address maintenance or housekeeping concerns. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary from time to time to meet the needs of the Property and Guests.
Essential Responsibilities
● Greet welcome all guests to the property in a warm, friendly and attentive manner.
● Check guests in and out for their reservations
● Follow all cash handling and credit card handling procedures.
● Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
● Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by guests and employees.
● Answer guests’ inquiries about services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.
● Be well versed on rates, lengths of stay, seasonal schedules and approved promotions or discounts.
● Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
● Must be able to cross-train in other property related areas.
● Maintain confidentiality of information.
● Maintain a clean organized work area.

● Perform other duties as requested by Management.
● Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent required (some HS education required)
● Prior administrative experience
● Strong customer service skills
● Good problem solving skills
● Professional appearance
● Valid Driver’s License
● Intermediate computer proficiency with ability to use G-Suite, email and internet
● RV property office or hotel front desk experience, a plus
