NOW HIRING GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
The New Body Project is Brooklyn’s First and Only ALL Women’s (and individuals who identify
a) Boot Camp Studio. We truly believe that when a woman puts herself first and declares she’s
taking her body back all possibilities can be created. Our studio specializes in small group
High-Intensity Interval Training by way of weight training, strength training, cardio, and light
nutrition guidance.
Our studio was shut down through the entire pandemic and is reopening our doors Mid
-Sept/October.
The New Body Project is seeking reliable trainers to help us relaunch our program to provide
group fitness instruction, monitor, educate patrons on fitness and safety, and maintain a safe
and enjoyable, funny sense of humor, gut-busting laughing, fun as heck atmosphere for
members. Most importantly we also believe in F.T.D.I. ing Which stands for.....
FOLLOW THE DARN INSTRUCTIONS
We are seeking a professional trainer to teach scheduled classes, beginning and ending on
time; provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cooldowns.
YOUR REQUIRED DUTIES:
-Instructs patrons on effective workout methods; explains proper techniques, demonstrates
exercises; identifies different muscle groups, and teaches appropriate methods to strengthen
specific muscles.
-Prepares appropriate equipment and music for each class.

-Assists our members by answering questions and maintaining a positive exercise experience.
-Keep the Owner informed of members and studio needs.
-Ensures that safety standards are met, and that studio policy is adhered to.
- Performs related duties as required but not limited to what has been listed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Trainers should possess a current CPR certification or provide one within 30 days of
employment. The ideal candidate should be certified, in a current Physical Therapy program, or
planning to enroll in a certification program and still has the passion and knowledge to possess
this necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities below:
-Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and training principles.
-Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporation of music.
-Ability to be professional and motivate class participants.
-Ability to cooperate and work well with others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Trainer
to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, trainers are frequently required to walk, stand, sit and
talk or hear.
-Trainers are required to conduct examples of all workouts and modifications for clients.
-Trainers are occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Trainers must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 + pounds, and occasionally must aide or
assist members.
- Trainers must have a high degree of energy, be physically fit, be enthusiastic, and social, and have
the endurance to complete the workout if required to do.

We want cool down to earth people with a sense of humor on our team. We are a brand new
company looking to grow and want to bring Trainers along who want the same.
We are seeking a Trainer who wants to learn the business from training class, client acquisition
, and retention to running the business. Most importantly seeking someone who is eager to
transfer their knowledge in this growing relationship.
PAY
Starting at $25 per class depending on experience the rate will and can go up from there. There
will be 12 classes per week for Trainers to select from typically 2-4 classes per day. You’ll have
the opportunity to make $75+ and up per day for a few hours of your time. Plus referral and
commission bonuses.
PERKS
As a Trainer of The New Body Project, you will have the opportunity to use space free of charge
during the off time for a maximum of 3 hours a month for your personal clients.
