As a Front Desk associate, you will be the first point of contact for PerformanceGaines, and will be responsible for providing staff and clientele with administrative support. You will handle the flow of clientele through the business experience and ensure that all front desk responsibilities are completed accurately, with excellent quality, and delivered in a timely manner. We are looking for someone to keep the gym clean and to properly close the gym to be ready for the next day.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately.

Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.

Provide tours for walk-ins and clients, listening to their needs.

Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.

Communicate & respond to clients, staff, & management in a timely manner through email or phone.

Process various transactions including memberships, classes, sessions, & merchandise through ZenPlanner

Client Management System.

Emptying towel bins, washing & drying towels, and replenishing towel cabinets.

Check amenities & merchandise to restock, if needed.

Maintain cleanliness and overall upkeep of gym building & bathrooms.

Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access to gym facility.

Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.

Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as printing, photocopying, etc as needed.

Attend staff and one-on-one meetings.

Comply with all company safety rules.

Report accidents and injuries to supervisor as soon as possible.

Qualifications

At least 1-2 years of proven working experience in similar roles

High school degree

Customer service experience

Enthusiasm for health & fitness preferred

Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50-70lbs.
