Fertilizer Applicator:

This will be a Seasonal job laid off for the winter. Expected start time for this position will be March 15, 2024. This will be based out of the Bedford, Pa or New enterprise, Pa location with the following requirements and responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

1. Must have large equipment experience with an agricultural background.
2. Must have and maintain a CDL Class B (minimum) license with ability to get a liquid tanker endorsement.
3. Learn needed skill set to apply dry fertilizer in a proficient manner. 
4. Learn to blend, receive and load out bulk fertilizer products.  Learn operations of all fertilizer equipment and help maintain their condition.  This would include liquid delivery trucks, dry tender trucks and all spreader units.
5. Be able to get certified for fork truck and loader.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work with sales staff and locations to apply dry fertilizer with our custom application equipment on a timely manner when scheduled.
2. Maintain our custom application equipment, washed off, greased, chain oiled, fluid checked regularly.
3. Be able to receive, store and loadout or blend fertilizers.  This would include unloading trucks, cleaning and maintaining storage areas and blending fertilizers.  Be able to blend and load all fertilizers on trucks or buggies.  Work with customers to fulfill their orders.  Be able to do basic maintenance and greasing of equipment.
4. Have a CDL Class B license to help deliver fertilizer and buggies to our customers.  This would include both dry and liquid products. Would also have the ability to spread fertilizers with BFB equipment.  A tanker endorsement is required for the liquid trucks. Delivery trucks would include tenders, tri-axles and spreader trucks.
5. Be available to run CDL Class B van trucks to deliver products between stores and to customers in a timely manner with friendly customer service.  Be able to hand unload products and seed corn at customer farms when needed. 
6. Be able to complete all needed paper work for records and company business.
7. Be willing to cover other co-workers tasks when the need arises.
8. Work flexible hours, as in the different seasons, to complete tasks. 
9. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
