Our Learning Center has an opening for a teacher interested in working with children from Kindergarten through Elementary grades.
Our teachers work with 1 to 4 students at a time, in person, at our center. Every student works on his or her own assigned material while under a teacher’s supervision, and progresses at his or her own pace.
The teacher we are looking for needs to be proficient in Math up to Elementary grade level, and must have strong reading and comprehension skills.
We prefer a teacher who has experience working with children.
Teacher credentials are welcome but not necessary, as we provide all training required to work with Kumon materials and to understand and follow Kumon teaching methods.
As a Kumon teacher, you will have the opportunity to individually help children to learn. You will have the chance to participate in their progress and development, and observe as they flourish under your guidance and care.
As a teacher here you will be working with children who have difficulty learning, and children who learn with ease, and you will be able to make a significant difference in the progress of both.
Ultimately, we are looking to hire an individual who is deeply committed to helping young children acquire the fundamental knowledge and develop the basic skills they will need to flourish in life.
And as importantly, we are looking to hire an individual who will care about the children he or she will work with, and who is genuinely motivated to assist them as they learn through the Kumon program.
You will be working with students at our center in Ladera Ranch, alongside our supportive team of teachers.
