Dog walker
Looking for a dog walker/pet sitter to add to the Bay Area Pet Pals team. Earn a competitive wage - we have employees that earn between $500 and $2,600 per month (depending upon their availability and client demand), plus two generous bonuses per year.
We are a local family-owned pet care company on the Peninsula that has been servicing San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Atherton, Menlo Park and Palo Alto for over 14 years.
Our employees come first because they are the front line in running our business successfully. We treat our walkers and sitters with gratitude, appreciation and respect - this is why most employees have been with us for many years.
Please note, we have a walk and pet sit route available starting this summer in the San Carlos to Menlo Park area. This is our immediate hiring need.
About you (in general):

First and foremost - a reliable person that loves animals, enjoys the outdoors and being active.
Lives between Burlingame and Palo Alto.
Legally authorized to work in the US.
Able to pass a background check.
Available for dog walks and cat sit visits at a minimum from Monday through Friday, from approximately 10:30 or 11:00am to approximately 2:30 or 3:00pm. Additional weekday hours and weekend work can also be assigned if you choose.
Available to work partial days on some major holidays - these are our busiest times for pet sitting and also pay the highest wage.
This is an ongoing, long-term, part-time position.
We ask for a minimum one-year commitment.
Have your own reliable vehicle, driver’s license and insurance.

Higher pay on major holidays.
We hire employees and not independent contractors. We have liability insurance, bonding, and worker’s compensation. We also provide paid training, pet CPR and first aid certification.
We are not an on-demand pet service app. You will have steady work and a weekly route catered to your area and availability, with no long commute.
You will visit the same dogs each week, which creates lasting relationships with your clients and their pets.
We have a CalSavers Roth IRA plan in place for you to make contributions for your retirement.
