The Digital Art Instructor is responsible for teaching 3rd through 9th grade students comprehensive skills for understanding digital drawing programs, digital art, and drawing techniques.

Instructor must have strong communication skills and patience to not only encourage a creative mindset in students, but an enjoyable learning environment as well.
The instructor also plays a role in the team for promoting and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers. Customer service experience is not expected of applicants, but greatly appreciated.

The instructor needs to have the skillset and knowledge about digital sketching, inking, painting, and composition, as well as a strong understanding or experience with digital drawing programs like Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Sketchbook, Clip Studio Paint, and Procreate.
Procreate knowledge is favored, as it is our main drawing program.

Responsibilities:
The instructor will inspire students to be spirited and interested in the production of digital art.
The instructor will help students obtain comprehensive skills for creating digital illustrations, such as sketching, composition, color theory, painting techniques, thumbnails, concept art, and proficiency with the drawing program’s User Interface.
The instructor needs to be open-minded and have the ability to support individuals' ideas.
The instructor needs to follow the curriculum and use video references or slideshows.
The instructor should be able to adapt and improvise solutions should the need arise.
Be a team player to promote and maintain customer networks.
Strong communication skills and patience while working with children.

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in the visual arts, preferably computer arts or media.
1 year + experience teaching 3rd-9th grade students.
Must possess a strong command of the English language, both spoken and written. Understanding of Chinese (Mandarin) also greatly appreciated, but not mandatory.
