Description:
Dr. Martin Curry Dentistry is currently looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dedicated dental team. The ideal candidate will provide support to our dentists and ensure that patients receive the highest standard of dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Help to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
• Assist with the provision of appropriate oral health education.
• Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.
• Communicate with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing, and ordering supplies).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
• A diploma or certificate in Dental Assisting from a recognized institution.

Pay and Benefits:

• The position offers a competitive pay rate of $22 to $25 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.
• No healthcare benefits are included.

Schedule:

• The position requires availability every Monday.
• The candidate should be open to working 2 Saturdays a month, starting from January.
