Humpty’s Dumplings slings signature American Fusion dumplings all over the region. We are expanding and in need of help on our food trucks and in our booths. We take pride in the name we have built for ourselves and are looking for members to add to the team. We travel within the tri-state area catering to corporate events, breweries, and music/food truck festivals. Headquartered in Sharon Hill, we operate out of our very own commissary where we produce and handle all aspects of the business.
Position: We are looking for dedicated individuals who can help maintain our fleet and represent us out in the field. The role is diverse: from prepping the carts for events to driving/setting up, to vending. We are looking for dynamic people who can handle the fast pace and long hours.
HOURS: we are currently looking to hire both part full-time, we operate most days but the majority of the work is nights and weekends. Our busy season begins in April and goes through December. We can offer variety and flexibility.
THE JOB: Your day-to-day responsibilities will look like this:
-General inventory and stocking
-Packing dumplings/sauces/drinks for the days events
-Frying dumplings
-Facilitate fast paced service
-Maintain a clean and presentable work environment for our customers
-Consistent and effective communication amongst the team and company
-Acknowledging and completing task check lists
-Provide kind, and professional customer service
-Have a full understanding of our menu items, allergens in the work place, and be able to educate our customers and clients on our menu.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
-Ability to stand for long periods of time at a fryer
-Professional work ethic
-Lift heavy objects
-Must be driven to meet or exceed standards of operation
-Exemplary customer service
-Valid drivers license
-Time management
-Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
-Flexibility in a changing and growing workplace
-Food Safety Knowledge. Those with a Food Manager certificate + experience are highly regarded.
-Ability to tow and park a trailer = more $
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
-Hourly rate $15-17/hour +tips based on experience, with great room for advancement
