Cleaning Technician

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our Residential Cleaning Team as a Cleaning Technician. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. Under the general direction of the Residential Supervisor, the Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing residences according to the client cleaning specifications for each residence. Cleaning tasks include but are not limited to trash removal, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, family room, dining room, den/office, utility/laundry room, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming floors, window washing, and other duties as assigned.

• 1 year+ of house cleaning or cleaning technician experience - free training available
• Education requirement: High School diploma or equivalent

• Eligible to work in USA
• Good command of English
• Ability to work well under minimum supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Capacity to take direction
• The position may require the employee to travel to more than one client location
• Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions and to recommend and/or implement solutions
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
• Must be able to work between 8 am and 5 pm, approximately 20-25 hours per week

• Must have a valid driver license, their own transportation and car insurance

• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 30 lbs as necessary.
• Moderate physical activities, which may include pulling, pushing, lifting, reaching, bending and repetitive movements
• Demonstrated skill and proficiency with cleaning equipment.
• Use of cleaning products, which require the use of protective gloves and eyewear.
• Cleaning Technicians must work in a way that complies with all safety regulations required by CleaningXL and OSHA

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide cleaning services to residences as directed by Supervisor
• Maintain all equipment and supplies so they are clean and in a safe and operable condition
• Ensure proper labeling on all cleaning chemical containers
• Ensure proper dilution ratios of cleaning chemicals
• Order cleaning supplies as required
• Empty all trash cans, replace liners and clean receptacles as needed
• Dust horizontal and vertical surfaces throughout the home
• Clean kitchen counter tops, sinks, cabinet doors, outsides of appliances
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms including countertops, sinks, tubs, showers and toilet
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floor surfaces
• Screen and route requests to supervisor if necessary, provide timely and accurate customer service support
• Perform other duties as requested or required by management
