Childcare Assistant
We are seeking a Childcare Assistant for a reputable home childcare program to join our team! You will assist in the development and supervision of children ages infant to 12 years of age. This position is Part-time, entry level and ideal for a college student.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner.
- Implement creative activities to assist with child development
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Perform a variety of tasks, such as feeding, changing diapers, potty training, overseeing play and learning activities
Qualifications:
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Previous experience with childcare or other related fields helpful
- Self starter
- First/Aide and CPR Certified
- Able to pass a background check
