United Homecare Services takes care of our caregivers!

We are a wonderful place to work for college students and post grads-  you get to design your own schedule and will be matched with clients close to your geographic area.

Responsibilities and duties may include ; 

Assist the client with activities of daily living
Provide personal care services including bathing and toileting assistance, transfers with hoyer using ceiling track, mobility, dressing and grooming
Perform light housekeeping and do laundry to help maintain comfortable and healthy living conditions
Provide companionship services to reduce senior isolation
Provide medication reminders
Plan, prepare and serve meals
Complete client’s shopping or accompany the client to do so successfully
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Job Requirements

Enjoy making a difference in another's life
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Dependable to complete all assigned shifts
Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
High School Diploma or equivalent
Take pride in providing high quality care
