Caregiver
Touching Hearts at Home is looking for competent compassionate and dedicated professional personal care providers to assist our clients in non-medical duties. We don't require any experience, only that you have a heart to give and the motivation to learn new skills. We are more than a business we are a family focusing on the care of seniors, veterans and others with disabilities offering high quality assistance.
We offer you the flexibility to build a schedule on your terms with different days and times of work available to make the perfect schedule that best fits into your lifestyle needs. As a caregiver help client with everyday tasks such as personal care, transportation, meal preparation, and light housework. Help us improve the life of our client's by creating a safe, pleasant, and healthy environment. Responsibilities
•Help clients take prescribed medication
•Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
•Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
•Help clients with physical therapy exercises
•Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
•Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
•Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
•Be a pleasant and supportive companion
•Report any unusual incidents
•Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
•Quickly response to emergency situations
•Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking
•Respectful and compassionate
•Good time management skills
•Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong ethics
•Physical endurance (20lb lift limit)
