Touching Hearts at Home is looking for competent compassionate and dedicated professional personal care providers to assist our clients in non-medical duties. We don't require any experience, only that you have a heart to give and the motivation to learn new skills. We are more than a business we are a family focusing on the care of seniors, veterans and others with disabilities offering high quality assistance.
We offer you the flexibility to build a schedule on your terms with different days and times of work available to make the perfect schedule that best fits into your lifestyle needs. As a caregiver help client with everyday tasks such as personal care, transportation, meal preparation, and light housework. Responsibilities
�Help clients take prescribed medication
�Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor�s appointments, walks etc.)
�Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
�Help clients with physical therapy exercises
�Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
�Do the client�s shopping or accompany them when they shop
�Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can�t complete on their own
�Be a pleasant and supportive companion
�Report any unusual incidents
�Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
�Quickly response to emergency situations
�Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking
�Respectful and compassionate
�Good time management skills
�Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
�Strong ethics
�Physical endurance (20lb lift limit)
