We are seeking both full-time and part-time pontoon boat captains for this coming season. Our boats are brand new and the owner is an active working owner who drives one of the boats often. Owner is a licensed captain and holds a OUPV License with a 100 Ton Masters Endorsement through the United States Coast Guard.
We're looking for responsible boat captains who can take out groups of no more than 15 people for private charters on Lake Austin. Must be friendly, outgoing and able to entertain customers and help them have a great, memorable experience.
Definitely need to be available for weekends with occasional weekday tours. Holiday weekends a must! Weekend work days are long (Three tours a day; 10am-9pm). Weekday tours range from 3-4 hours each.
Our boats are docked on Lake Austin near Hula Hut. No trailering of boats will be required but it is helpful if you can assist with trailering/maintenance.
It's a great job for someone who enjoys being out on the lake, responsible, attentive and likes being around others. Our guests are generally in happy moods so you'll be around a bunch of happy people quite often.
